- Write a short essay about the state of the animals after the death of Major Pig. What happens to the idea of rebelling against man? And what causes the animals to finally rebel against Mr. Jones and his four farmhands?
- What happens after the „revolution“? Note down some facts from chapter two.
- Study the pig’s behaviour in chapter two. What does it tell us about the future developments?
After having answered these questions, please speculate on what the future will be like for the animals. Do they manage to live in equality?
